The Lakeport City Council denied a vicious animal abatement appeal. The order is in effect for 3 years for Maria Anderson’s dogs, a 3-year-old neutered male German shepherd mix, and a 1-year-old neutered male pit bull mix. The Lakeport Police Chief and Lake County Animal Care and Control Director declared the dogs vicious following 11 instances of the dogs running loose and attacking animals.
