Midweek last week, firecrews responded to a vegetation fire that started in the 10500 block of Seigler Canyon Road, west of Lower Lake. The Seigler Fire started early evening in grassy oak woodlands. Firecrews and multiple air resources along with CalFire were deployed to work the blaze. Firefighters were able to contain the fire quickly, about 45 minutes after the fire was first reported, it was brought under control.
