The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Oakland woman. Elizabeth Schenk was reported missing on Tuesday when she was last seen in the 31000 block of Bruhel Point Road in Fort Bragg, where she was visiting. At 70, Schenk is at risk due to her age and pre-existing medical conditions. Elizabeth Schenk is white, 5’5” tall, 150 lbs with graying brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a white sweater, a white vest, and white jeans when she left for a walk on Tuesday. She had called a friend asking for help as she was lost on a nearby logging road but hasn’t been heard from since. Anyone with information is asked to call the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.
