A Cobb man remains in custody after being charged with attempted murder, causing permanent disability, and assault with a deadly weapon among other charges in the beating of his father outside of the garden department at the Walmart in Clearlake. Peter Guerrero appeared remotely from the State Hospital, where he was committed to last year. The court ordered the case to be continued until next month.
