The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather watch for southern Lake County starting Thursday due to predicted windy, warm, and low-humidity conditions. The watch covers the lower two-thirds of Lake County and will be in effect from Thursday through Saturday evening. Gusty northerly winds of 15-25 mph are expected with gusts of up to 45 mph possible.
