The Save the Redwoods League has announced the purchase of 750 acres of coastal redwood properties in Mendocino and Sonoma counties. The redwood acreage was acquired from private landowners and the Mendocino Redwood Company for roughly $3.5 million. Nearly 54,000 acres of redwood trees in some of Mendocino and Sonoma County’s most loved parks are now protected.
