The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office and the Ukiah Police Department have hired new personnel. UPD announced it had hired Officer Michael Jenson, a lateral officer, meaning he has strong, previous law enforcement experience. His hiring puts the UPD closer at 29 officers, with a goal of 32. Two new lateral Sheriff’s deputies have been hired. Brittany Shores and Christopher McNally have nearly 30 years exerience between them. Sarah Davis has also been hired at the Sheriff’s Office’s newest Community Services officer.
