City Councils across the state will soon be able to give their members a raise, the first since 1984. TheLakeCountyNews reports SB329 will bring salaries more into line with the current cost of living. The new law will encourage those from the community to participate in city government. What council members will receive has yet to be determined, but now the way is clear to make those adjustments.
