Firefighters and equipment responded mid day yesterday to a wildfire in Redwood Valley. A trailer in the 11200 block of West Road caught fire and spread into the surrounding vegetation. Mendofever reports the incident commander reported the fire at about an acre and was threatening a nearby mobile home. Ground and air resources fought back the blaze, which by around 2 pm was topped out and crews took a frew hours to close out the blaze.
