A Lake County man has been tried and sentenced to prison time after being found guilty of performing a lewd act on a child. The charges filed against Andy Hopper stem from an incident in February where a 13-year-old girl was subjected to inappropriate touching at a convenience store in Lakeport. Hopper has been ordered to make restitution and will serve a three-year sentence in the custody of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
