Konocti Corridor Project Complete

Cal Trans has completed work on the Konocti Corridor Project. TheLakeCountyNews reports the completion of the $85 million project was celebrated this past Wednesday by Caltrans and local officials who gathered at state route 29 and Konocti Rock Company Road. Caltrans District 1 Director Matt Brady said the district’s continuing partnership with the Lake Area Planning Council and the Federal Highway Administration helped make the project possible. The corridor serves the communities of Lakeport, Kelseyville, Lower Lake and Middletown, as well as auto and commercial truck traffic traveling between U.S. 101 and Interstate 5.
