A disturbance call in Ukiah on Tuesday has led to an officer being assaulted and a Ukiah woman being arrested for that assault. The UkiahDailyJournal reports Rachael D. Seivertson appeared to be under the influence of a stimulant. In the process of contact, Seivertson picked up a large rock and threw it at the officer, hitting him in the face and then proceeded to punch him. She was wrestled to the ground and subdued. The officer was treated for a wound to his head and face at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley. Seivertson was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon on a peace office among other charges. She was booked into the Mendocino County Jail on $100,000 bond.
