The Mendocino Coast’s only county-run animal shelter in Fort Bragg is closing. TheMendoVoice reports shelter officials say the closure may happen on or before July 1st as a cost-cutting measure. Animal Care Services Director Rich Molinari says the closure will save about $120,000 from the county budget. The decision was made based on the availability of other options along the coast.
