Statewide, reservoir storage of water is at 105%, and with that bounty, the California Department of Water Resources yesterday announced that it expects to deliver 100% of the water requested this year, up from the 75% announced in March. TheLakeCountyNews reports the last time the SWP was at 100% delivery was in 2006. This means that water will be delivered to the SWP’s 29 public water agencies that serve 750,000 acres of farmland and 27 million Californians.
