The Ukiah Daily Journal reports a Eureka man was arrested on suspicion of setting five fires inside a Ukiah business last Friday. Deputies on the scene observed the man, later identified as 26 year old Benjamin Dimmick, standing inside the business next to the fires, attempting to light another fire. Deputies used fire extinguishers until firefighters arrived. Dimmick was arrested on suspicion of five counts of felony arson and burglary. He was booked into the Mendocino County Jail, where he is being held in lieu of $25,000 dollar bail.
