Firefighters responded to a fast-moving wildland fire in Lake County. The Pomo fire was first reported yesterday just after 4:45 p.m. at Highway 20 at the Pomo Pumps gas station near Reclamation Cutoff. Tt was reportedly a passenger car fire that spread into the vegetation. The fire grew quickly with the wind and stated moving toward structures, prompting evacuation orders and the closure of a portion of Highway 20. Forward progress was stopped just after 6PM, and the fire was held at 25 acres.
