The Lake County Board of Supervisors granted an appeal for a commercial cannabis development. A permit had been granted to the We Grow LLC project for a major cannabis operation to be located next to Hidden Valley Lake. The appeal was filed by concerned residents and was granted over procedural issues with the environmental document. Yesterday morning, residents of Hidden Valley Lake were at the courthouse with signs opposing the cannabis grow. The project was denied without prejudice the project without prejudice, which will allow the landowner to resubmit the proposal.
