The Lake County Board of Supervisors this week voted to separate the Community Development director’s job from the Water Resources and Public Works departments. The board approved a resolution to establish position allocations for the planning budget unit, which will include the Community Development director classification, and allows the county to hire a director focused 100-percent of the time on Community Development.
