A drought emergency has been declared for several counties in the state including Lake and in Mendocino counties. State Senator Mike McGuire is hosting a town hall this evening to discuss the drought emergency and the major steps that are being taken to respond to the crisis. Joining McGuire will be Joseph James, Chairman, Yurok Tribe; Grant Davis, General Manager, Sonoma Water; Ben Horenstein, General Manager, Marin Municipal Water District and Carmel Angelo, CEO, County of Mendocino.
