MCSO is reporting about an officer-involved shooting. Sheriff’s Deputies responded to residence in the 3000 block of Cameron Road in Elk, where the homeowner reported a burglary. Sheriff’s Deputies encountered the male suspect outside of the residence during a foot chase, the man discharged a firearm multiple times at one of the pursuing deputies. The Deputy returned fire. No one was injured. The suspect got away and is considered armed and dangerous.
