City of Ukiah Police Chief Justin Wyatt released a video yesterday addressing the use of force incident that occurred last week when officers responded to a call of an unclothed man running in traffic. Chief Wyatt says he understands the anger and concern has been expressed over what the community saw in the videos of the arrest posted on social media and that the department is taking this very seriously. Wyatt added that there will be a full and independent investigation into this matter, and UPD will participate fully in that investigation.
