Some Students in Mendocino County Could be Back in Class Next Week

Some students in Mendocino County could be headed back to the classroom as soon as next week. It all depends on new COVID case rates staying below an average of 23 cases per day, as well as county and state approval. The Ukiah Unified COVID Safety Plan has been approved by Mendocino County Public Health and as of the Superintendent’s last update, is still waiting approval from the state. UUSD set a tentative reopening date of February 16, to begin a phased reopening.
