There are still many without power in Mendocino County and a some in Lake County too. While PG&E reported yesterday that most customers impacted by last week’s storm have been restored, the remainder of customers are primarily located in hard-hit areas where roads remain closed due to heavy snowfall, debris flows, or other damage. PG&E will continue to work to gain access to these customers and restore power as safely and as quickly as possible. It’s estimated that power will be back on for all of those areas by sometime tonight. Even as the PG&E crews work to overcome such obstacles and reconnect service, meteorologists are monitoring a new winter system that could bring more wet and stormy weather to Northern and Central California starting Monday.
