The Ukiah City Council is getting closer to filling a vacant seat. During the General Election in November, Maureen Mulheren won the Second District seat of the Mendocino County Supervisors, creating the vacancy for the city council. The application deadline is today. Next Thursday during a special meeting, board members will consider the applications and may interview potential candidates.
