A batch of COVID-19 vaccines that caused higher allergic reactions made its way to Mendocino County. The public health department says there have been no adverse reactions here. The batch in question was used at a mass vaccination event in San Diego, where six healthcare workers experienced allergic reactions to the Moderna vaccine. 100 doses associated with that batch were used at a vaccination event at the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds on January 7th. Those who received a dose from that batch are being contacted by county staff.
