The Lakeport City Council unanimously approved the recommended budget for 2014/15 this week. The Finance Director says revenue for the city is expected to total approximately $15.7 million. Expenditures are expected to total approximately $18.8 million. The budget focuses on economic development, infrastructure and capital. Meanwhile, the Lake County Supervisors are anticipating a potential $1.8 million shortfall in the county general fund. A public hearing regarding the budget is scheduled for Sept. 3. A workshop will be held in late July or early August.
Lakeport Approves Budget
