Unsolicited Seeds from China Arriving in Mendocino County

The Mendocino County Agricultural Commissioner’s office received several calls this week that unordered seed packets from China were delivered to their homes. The California Department of Food and Agriculture and USDA are investigating these shipments. If you received seeds you did not order, do not openor plant them. Contact the County Agricultural Commissioner’s office at 707-234-6830. You can also drop off the seeds in a clear, sealed back to 890 N. Bush St. during business hours.
