Grant Awarded to MCAVHN Care and Prevention Network

MCAVHN Care and Prevention Network in Mendocino County is among 55 community-based organizations receiving grant money from The Center at Sierra Health Foundation, through the Medication Assisted Treatment Access Points Project. The local agency will receive about $108,000 to provide focused education, harm reduction materials, overdose prevention/naloxone administration training and distribution, and connections to culturally appropriate MAT programs for persons who inject drugs in Native American communities in remote Mendocino County.
