Bomb Cyclone Storm Causes Power Outages in Mendocino County

Forecasters called the storm that hit Northern California yesterday a “bomb cyclone” that brought high winds and snow just as Thanksgiving travel begins. A winter weather advisory expires this afternoon for Mendocino County, while a winter storm warning remains in effect for Lake County above 200 feet until 4 this afternoon. Several power outages were reported yesterday in Mendocino County – with over 1300 customers affected from north of Fort Bragg up to Rockport.
