Lake County Pharmacist Settles on Allegations From State Board

A Lake County pharmacist accused of several violations, signed a settlement with the California Board of Pharmacy. This leaves the allegations made by the board against Ruth Anne Stewart, uncontested and accepted as true, and puts her pharmacist’s license on probation. Among the allegations, the board said Stewart billed Medi-Cal for brand-name pharmaceuticals while filling prescriptions with cheaper, generic drugs.
