Cyanobactera Concern in 6 Lower Areas

The latest July 2019 cyanobacteria testing results for Clear Lake in Lake County are out. 30 Clear Lake sites were tested, and there were six areas that demonstrated concerning levels of blue-green algae, also known as Cyanobacteria. They are: Austin Park Beach; Redbud Park; Cache Creek Shady Acres; Lily Cove; Jago Bay; and Buckingham Park. Public Health urges boaters and recreational users to avoid direct contact with or use of waters containing cyanobacteria in Lake County.
