Lake Releases Reduced in Effort to Locate Body of Missing Man

Lake Mendocino water releases are being reduced as the search for the body of a missing boater continues. 40-year-old Vincent Soto, of Laytonville, has been missing since June 11. He and his father were on a fishing trip. The body of 62-year-old Carlos Soto was found that evening. The Sonoma County Water Agency began reducing releases of water from the lake on Monday afternoon, at the request of the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.
