Mendocino County Looking into Mental Health Facility Options

Mendocino County staff have been directed to begin looking at mental health facility options. The Board of Supervisors this week moved forward with the recommendation made by the Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen’s Oversight Committee. That committee is responsible for providing recommendations to the board for the use of the Measure B funds. A recent report recommended that the county should have three options: a Crisis Residential Unit, a Crisis Stabilization Unit, and a 24 Hour Psychiatric Health Facility
