Thousands of Ballots Left to be Counted in Lake and Mendocino Counties

The Clerk-Recorder’s office in Mendocino County reports there are still thousands of ballots to be counted from Tuesday’s midterm election. There are 16,730 absentee ballots, 1,011 provisional ballots and 268 conditional ballots, totaling a little over18,000 ballots left to be tallied. The clerk has 30 days to complete the count. the Lake County Registrar of Voters Office still has about 11,261 ballots to count. Over 6,000 Vote-by-mail, or absentee, ballots, 3,392 provisional ballots, and 1,236.conditional ballots.
