Update on USACE Debris Removal

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reports that so far they have cleared more than 288,000 tons of debris from 880 properties in Mendocino, Lake, Sonoma and Napa counties. The program is currently in Phase 1, which is the removal of household hazardous waste Phase II will be the removal of other fire-related debris from structures destroyed by fire. That is managed by the Corps of Engineers under the direction of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
