Drugs or Alcohol Suspected in Recent Serious Crashes

Drugs or alcohol are suspected to have contributed to two crashes that left people seriously injured last weekend in Mendocino County. On Saturday, a woman driving a Malibu south on Highway 101, near Geysers Road was struck by a northbound Sequoia, that drifted across the highway into the woman’s lane. The impact sliced the Malibu in half. The other crash happened Friday on Highway 128 near Philo.
