Barrier Tape Put Up to Keep People Out of Library Park

Library Park in Lakeport remains closed due to flooding. On February 9th, the City of Lakeport closed the park for public safety and to prevent further damage. The City says people are ignoring the closed signs and entering the flooded areas of the park which is causing further damage. The city continues to have crews working in the park to protect the infrastructure. Barrier tape has now been put up between the “Park Closed” signs. Police officers will be patrolling the area and those found entering are subject to citation for going into a closed area.
