Clearlake Man Sets Adult Care Facility on Fire

Clearlake Police arrested a man yesterday for setting fire to an adult care facility where he was staying. At 4AM Police responded to an alarm in the 14100 block of Konocti Street. Officers arrived on scene and began checking to ensure the occupants were out of the residence. Fire personnel from Lake County Fire Protection District arrived on scene and began protecting the surrounding residences due to the large size of the fire. During the investigation, officers discovered, 29-year-old Anthony Conley who lived inside the residence had intentionally started the fire, knowing other people were inside the residence. Conley was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail for attempted murder, arson of an inhabited structure, and vandalism.
