New Details in Murder of Laytonville Marijuana Grower

A woman who was initially a suspect in the murder of marijuana grower in Laytonville, is now being called a victim of a kidnapping by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. A press release states that the 26 year old female, from Fairfax Virginia, was kidnapped along with a four year old child. On November 11th, Jeffrey Q. Settler, found dead at the site of his large marijuana grow in Laytonville. Two suspects have been arrested and are now in Mendocino County Jail charged with murder. Police are still looking for 5 suspects – all from out of the area, and 2 vehicles associated with the case.
