Windsor Man was Shot Multiple Times Expected to Survive

A Windsor man was shot multiple times at an alleged Mendocino County pot grow.

The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office was called a little after 7 Sunday morning. The caller told the dispatcher that a a 25-year-old man they knew had contacted them to report he’d been shot while at a marijuana garden. Deputies were able to contact victim by calling his cell telephone and were guided to a remote wooded location near the 37000 block of Highway 128 in Yorkville.

Deputies found the man with several gunshot wounds and he was transported by air ambulance to an out of county hospital for medical treatment. He sustained life threatening injuries but authorities say he is expected to survive.The investigation is on-going and no further information is being released.
