A controlled burn escaped the permitters and spread into brush and wildland, east of Hopland on Saturday. The last report from Cal Fire over the weekend was that the fire had reached around 60 acres in size.
And there was another escaped control burn reported yesterday. The Brooktrails Township Fire Department responded to the incident on Timber Road.
CALFIREMEU will be conducting a prescribed burn in the Yorkville area starting today, approximately 9 am to 6 pm each day, through Monday, April 5th.
